Junction questions
Yes. Vital renamed itself Junction; tryvital.io and the old docs point to junction.com now. Everything on this page is about the current Junction product and their current pricing page.
No, and it would be wrong to suggest otherwise. Junction runs Garmin, Polar, Wahoo and Fitbit on their own apps by default; bringing your own OAuth credentials is optional. The difference between us is not access to Garmin — both of us have it — it is what that access costs once you have users.
Junction’s Launch plan is $300 a month for 1 to 500 connected users. Stridee is 32.50 € a month on Hacker for up to 250, and 82.50 € on Startup for up to 5,000, both billed annually. Past 500 users Junction has no published price — Enterprise is custom and billed annually — while our plans stay self-serve up to 250,000. Junction publish in dollars and we charge in euros; at any recent rate the gap does not depend on the conversion.
When your product is about health rather than training. If you need Apple Health, WHOOP, Oura or continuous glucose monitors, they read them and we do not. If you want lab tests alongside wearable data, that is their product and not ours. And if a HIPAA BAA, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is a procurement requirement, they hold those on Enterprise and we hold none of them. Any one of those is a reason to go with Junction.

Yes. Your own external_user_id is the handle on both sides, so a user is one row in your database with provider links hanging off it. Keep the phone platforms, rings and CGMs on Junction and move the sports watches to us, or start here and add Junction the day a health feature needs it.
